Cheesecake lovers behold! This place is a must if you are in the area. It’s not easy finding a decent cheesecake that is light, soft yet creamy at the same time. Eileen’s really puts love into each batch and has been doing so for many years. They take phone orders and provide inscriptions or special requests on cake orders. My usual is the fresh strawberry topped cheesecake; the Mousse is also another favorite.

A corner shop dedicated to old school traditional Italian baked pastries and cakes is another repeat for me. They have a large assortment of confections and are sure to leave an unforgettable lasting memory for that special someone. My go to would have to be the Tiramisu wrapped around a shiny ribbon, very presentable and neat.

This is a classier neat choice for those who have a preference for something a little more on the foreign side. This bakery is widely known for its mille crepe cakes, made to perfection with 20 layers of mille crepe and sweet cream in between each layer. This is a definitely a winner if you’re looking to impress a group of guests.

An all American shop focused around classic flavored baked goods, mainly known for their adorable colorful cupcakes. Their cakes are super moist and their portions are very generous. Don’t forget to try the Banana Pudding, you’ll need to go back for seconds! If you are looking to buy an entire cake, inscriptions are provided as well as color customization. My suggestion is the red velvet cake with lavender inscription and sprinkles.

Chinatown Ice Cream Factory:
Located in the heart of Chinatown, this ice cream shop is best known for its handcrafted exotic flavors that give you a true taste of Asian dessert tones. They also hand make their rose shaped cake toppings for a truly homemade feel. Cakes are 100% made out of ice cream, they can be customized upon request or chosen from a fridge of pre-made cakes. The pre-made cakes typically consist of their most popular flavors (Vanilla, Strawberry, Green Tea, Mango, Lychee). A big favorite, I never fail to make a quick visit whenever I’m in town.
